The Six Arm Mahakala is considered as the fierce and powerful manifestation of Avalokiteshvara the Bodhisattva of Compassion and is the Dhramapala protector of Dhrama). Mahakala is lasts depicted with crown of five skulls that represents the transmutation of the five kleshas ( negative afflictions) into the five wisdoms,
Also, the variations are also depicted on their color and their physical form.
This Mahakal is carved on the bone and is about 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide and is hand carved by the local artisans
