This is a hand embroidered paper mache stole on pure pashmina. Paper mache technique originally came from Persia and it was later used by Kashmiri craftsmen thus making it more famous all over the world. The Pashmina wool comes from the Changthangi goats reared in the extreme harsh climate of Chanthang valley, which is the last living habitat area between the borders of India and Tibet. The Changthangi pashmina is said to be the finest of the pashmina or cashmere, very high quality and the warmth of it will mesmerize you and leave you speechless.
