The staple of Tsampa ( flour powder grinded  from Barley) is a reflection of the simplicity of  Ladakh conveyed on the Geographical, Economical and Cultural stance of the region. 

A humbler version is the Amber Tsampa pot, yet made from the highest quality of Apricot willow, more than 50 years old
