This is an old white metal teapot, with brass engraving on top. All the work is done by hand in Ladakh by locals. It takes around 2-3 months to complete this piece. When the mouth of the teapot is facing left, you can see the engraving of “Mi Tsering” which symbolises “Long Life”. And when it faces right it depicts a very old Buddhist story of “Four Friends” which symbolises “Unity” and “togetherness”. The mouth and the handle depicts a dragon which is also an auspicious symbol.
