This is a Buddha Shakyamuni made of apricot wood with yellow body and red robes. Its in a peaceful meditative state, with eyes partially closed. There are many forms of Buddha in Mahayana Buddhism. According to the Indian literature there are 32 major and 8 minor marks of Buddha through which we can identify or characterize Buddha. The hair tied up in a knot, a dot between the eyes, three lines on the neck, long earlobes and so on.
